This identity was designed for the Jazz Station 88.7 WSIE, which provides quality modern American jazz, news, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville(SIUE) sports and student programming. The station was looking for a classy yet contemporary identity to match that of it’s listeners.
The 3 color logo incorporates the university colors-PMS485(red), and black with a new color often associated with jazz - gold.
Due to a limited budget the 2 color version of the WSIE logo was a great choice for the stationery suite. Another way I kept within the clients budget was to create a design with no bleeds. The SIUE university wordmark had to be included in the suite design.
I designed a web page, event banner and note cards as part of this identity.
